Does Pantoprazole Help Treat Anxiety?

Question: My wife has alz. has been on xanax .25 and taking a half pill. Dr changed to pantoprazole sodium 20 mg She gets the shakes. does this new med help? she has no stomach problems.

I think maybe the doctor meant to give Paroxetine instead of Pantoprazole.
