Does Eliquis Help Cure Unexplained Bruising?

Question: can eliquis cause unnatural bruising - ??I am prescribed 2.5 milligrams 2 times per day orally and now have very large bruises on my arms with small ones on other areas......thank you for your assistance.

Regarding your concern, I would explain that eliquis can cause subcutaneous bleeding as well as increased bleeding in other regions of your body.

The bleeding can be related to small trauma, but even without any obvious cause, especially when eliquis is taken in a high dose (which is not your case).

Coming to this point, if these bruises are not related to trauma or pressure, I would recommend consulting with your doctor for a physical exam, complete blood count, coagulation tests, liver and renal function tests.
