Complete Hemogram, Liver function test, Serum Creatinine, Venous Doppler of legs Serum TSH.

Case History; The patient undergone heart surgery before one year. then developed pus in stitch line. then undergone two successive surgeries for removal of sternal wires. during this entire period the pus discharge has continued. During dec 15 to march 16 the patient had been given treatment for NTM atypical becteria. Claribid, levoflox and Hansepran were prescribed.
As of now, The patient is undergoing treatment for pus discharge from the chest. The microbiological testing of pus during march 2016 revealed TB. The medicines Combutol, R Cinex, pyzina and Benadon were prescribed. Before 10 days, the uric acid was reported 10. then pyzina was stopped and remaining medicines continued.
The pus discharge is continue. for dressing the wound i am using betadine ointment with IPA sterilized gauge swab. the dressing is changed everyday at home with complete care.
Now,regarding swelling in legs, after taking the medicine 2 tablets lasix 40 mg at an interval of 12 hours, patient had frequent urination and swelling subsided to some extent. but burning sensation just above ankle in both the legs along with swelling and pain in both the legs below knee is there. Kindly advise regarding;
correctness of the present treatment of TB
possible reasons for swelling. what medicine should be given for swelling and pain in the legs.

Microbiology test reports are attached. NTM culture shows ZN Stain; Acid fast bacilli seen scanty.
Pus culture report (chest wall sternal wound) shows isolated organism; Methicillin resistant staphylococcus epidermidis. Its sensitivity pattern shows sensitive to moxifloxacin and co-trimoxazole.
The patient has been prescribed pyzina and she is taking it since 20/4/2016. The wound has healed to some extent but not cured completely till date. The pus discharge is continue.
I want to know whether moxifloxacin should have been prescribed in place of pyzina. since as per report the sensitivity of bacteria towards moxifloxacin is there.

I went through all the reports upload and all the reports are in the normal range. But in Liver function test , one component called Serum Albumin test has not been done . Kindly get that done also.
As per your next query, Pyzina is given for the treatment of TB while Moxiflox is given for Methicillin resistant staphylococcus epidermidis. but Moxiflox also acts on the Tubercular bacteria too and could have been used instead of Pyzina .
Continue moxifloxacin and co-trimoxazole till pus completely dries out. Get Serum Albumin test done and revert back .
