The Bactrum was used to treat staff infection(merrsa).My daughter is taking it. Her urine dip test came back positive for benzos. Someone said that Bactrum could cause a false positive and that if the sample was sent to a lab for screening it would show as Bactrum not Benzos.

Secondly you are also right that sending it to a higher lab can help in differentiating whether it was a true test for benzodiazepines or a false positive for any other substance.
