Hello.

I don't think that augmentin is the drug of choice for typhoid treatment. Kindly take treatment under supervision of a doctor and don't self medicate.

My Doctor prescribed cefuroxime acetic (zinnat) last 10 days after a blood test and confirm I heard typhoid. But am still feeling the symptoms of the sickness. Which other Drug should I used?

Brief Answer:
Ceftriaxone Or Gatifloxacin

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

If you still have fever, either gatifloxacin or ceftrixone can be considered, after consultation with your doctor. Augmentin is not first choice for typhoid because of resistance.
