Question: Hello Doctor,

in a recent health checkup report, I understood Vitamin B12, Calcium and Vitamin D is lower than the reference range.

Vitamin B12 -187 pg/mL (Reference Range: 200 - 1100 pg/mL)
Calcium - 8.28 mg/dL (Reference Range: 8.5 - 10.5 mg/dL)
Vitamin D -14 ng/mL (Reference Range: 30 - 100 ng/mL)

Do you suggest taking supplements ? I spend lot of time in the SUN at least 30minutes per day but still Vitamin D is less.

and HbA1C is 5.7 % of total Hgb.

Your calcium,vitamin d and vitamin b12 levels are low. You may need to take supplements daily in order to increase them.
Take vitamin D 2000 UI daily and 1000 mg Ca daily until vitamin D levels go 75 ng/ml.
Also take 2.4mcg vitamin b12 daily.

You can take vitamin D 2000 iu and calcium 1000 mg combined tablet once daily after lunch and vitamin b 12 one tablet 2.4 mcg in morning after breakfast .
