Adenomyosis

Thank you for contacting HCM with our health care concerns

You have adenomyosis and you are wondering if the symptoms will worsen with time. There is really no way to tell if your adenomyosis will worsen. Every one is different. For some people the fibroids will increase in size and cause increased symptoms and then need a hysterectomy due to the pain. Some women have no increase in symptoms and the uterus doesn't grow or need removal. More than likely what ever progression in your symptoms have been in the past will predict your future progression. In other words if your pain and come on gradually then you may get only gradual growth. If has come on quickly then you may have quick increase in symptoms and need hysterectomy
