Do Kneading And Massaging Affect The Color Of Moles On Back?

Question: Hi,

I am currently seeing a chiropractor for a back issue which entails a lot of kneading and deep massaging on my back. I have moles on my back and have regular skin checks and all is okay. My question is can the kneading or massage hurt or make the mole change or become dangerous?

Thx

Brief Answer:
Kneading and massaging are harmless

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have taken note of your query and I have understood it.

Kneading and massaging are harmless and is not going to change a mole Or turn it into a more dangerous one.

Rarely, accidental scratching during massage, can cause a mole to hurt slightly but that would heal back to normal in the same amount of time as would a normal scratch.

Regards
