Do High Hematocrit And Specific Gravity Values Pose A Serious Concern?
Question: Yes, I just got back lab results and I got a high hematocrit and a high specific gravity. Everything else was very good. Could you give me some idea of what that measures? And is this serious?

This may occur when you have a lot of time to drink fluids. For example, if you have not drunk any water during the night and you give a urine specimen first thing in the morning this specimen would be dense and there's nothing wrong or suspicious with that.
