Do Blood And Urine Tests Reveal Sexual Status Of An Individual?
Question: Hello doctor...I had a protected sex with my girlfriend on 7th of July....she got the pregnancy test(prega news) n got a negative answer...now as she is planning to go abroad...she has to undergo a normal body test may be blood and urine test...does this test or her reports will show that she had been into a physical relation with me or no..what all things will be shown in the reports...

A. The medical tests carried out before undertaking a foreign trip basically aims to check the general health of an individual and to detect whether he/ she is having any underlying disease or not.
B. The blood test and urine tests carried out are basic ones. The blood tests does not reveal anything about the sexual status of an individual. If she was pregnant, it would have been detected through Urine pregnancy test (which is usually not done). As the pregnancy test is already negative, that possibility is ruled out.
C. However, the only risk will be the presence of any sexually transmitted disease, which if present may be detected in the blood and urine tests. As per your post, you had a protected sexual intercourse, so this possibility is also ruled out.
