Brief Answer:
In General , Long Term prognosis is good.

Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
I have gone through your details.
You are on conservative management of lumbar disc lesion with sclerosis of L5 S1 End plate sclerosis.
I routinely treat all such patients with Isometric and later on add Stretching exercises for long term treatment. If patient has any acute episode ,then temporarily medicines are required.
Long term prognosis is generally good , if you continue with exercises and precautions( like no weight lifting, Avoid prolonged sitting and forward bending).
Thanks for the question. Please feel free to ask any other specific question.
Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
