Question: Dear Doctor, May i request an assessment of the risk of sti/hiv from my mon penentrative exposure with a lady in a bar. there was no sex in any form, no direct genitalia contact nor hand to genital contact. the exposure was limited to foreplay where in both if us were fully clothed. there was brief kissing of hands and on forehead (no lip kiss). Lastly i did have a brief kiss on her cleveage. what are the chances of any risks assuming the lady was a carrier of sti/hiv snd do i need to consult doctor or take pep.

dear Doctor XXXXXXX thank you for the reassuring response. may i check without penentrative sex there is no risk of any sti. i am confused since the internet has many conflicting suggestions. is it okay for me to resume my relations with my normal partner given this encounter is of no risk. may i also clarify what do you mean by negligible risk

Since I have not witnessed the action, it would be fair for me to quote the risk as negligible which means near to nil.

There are should be a considerable exchange of bodily fluids for an infection to spread. Since in your action there has not occurred such thing, hence, the risk is very low.
