Detailed Answer:
Hii The buzzing sound in your ear is known as tinnitus in medical term. Your tinnitus is variable in intensity depending on your physical condition. There are many causes of this type of tinnitus. We will focus on the most important ones and how to come to a diagnosis. It may be due to weakness of nerve responsible for your hearing which is known as sensorineural hearing loss. It may be due to otosclerosis, a condition where there is a abnormal calcification and stiffness of bone responsible for hearing. Patient with otosclerosis typically has change in tinnitus on change in physical condition. Patients with otosclerosis can also have BPPV along with it. It can be due to Meniers disease where a certain part of your vestibular organs is dilated and there is giddiness associated with tinnitus. It can be due to any tumour in brain specially in CP angle which can also manifest similar symptoms. So you need to consult an Ent surgeon and a physician. Get your hearing tests done pure tone audiogram, impedance audiogram. After seeing the audiogram it can be decided whether to do a Electrocochleogram and Electronystagmogram. Consider doing MRI brain to rule out any any tumour, vascular malformation. Do speech audiometry along with audiogram to rule out otosclerosis. Check your blood pressure and control it as hypertension can also cause similar symptoms. Review with above reports and it will be easy to come to a diagnosis and yreatmenywill be done accordingly.
