Question: Craniofacial specialist or neurosuregon.

Hey. Im wondering if this is craniosystiosis? Or just a abbnormal headshape? Or something Wrong?

I cant lift my head upp Because then my neck hurts Because the head is Tilted back. If i Have my head forward my jaw rotates Wrong and my forhead hurts/ also my skin Burns, pain in eyes. I also Have this ridge in the forhead that has gotten bigger through out the Years. And its also something of hole or bump in my forhead that i can feel.

All day long i struggle, and Have Done since childhood. When i Open my mouth my hole head Feels like it falls back. And i Have constant pain in eyes, also the nose and burning skin. My head moves side to side as soon as i walk or does something. I can hardly breath When lying on head.

Would apprichiate a serious anwser, and if theres a posibility to fix this? Whit Maby implants and jaw surgery? Or What can be Done?

And Do You know a good craniofacial specialist Somewhere in europe?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
There is no craniosynostosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

I have examined the uploaded images too.

There is no craniosynostosis in your case, this regarding the photos and the MRI image that you uploaded.

The problem seems to be of muscular origin, probably the muscles of your face and neck were developed abnormally.

I think that Botox injections and physical therapy may help in your case.

A good center for craniofacial surgery is located in the University of Frankfurt, Germany.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
No changes of head shape in an MRI.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

There are no changes in the shape of the head in an MRI with different positions.

Again, the problem seems more muscular.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to ask if you have further questions.

Hello again.

I saw the other pictures that you uploaded.

I'm not saying that it is normal for the jaw to push the throat, especially if it is causing you symptoms.

It is difficult to provide a straight answer just by looking at the pictures, anyway, I see some asymmetry when you open and close the mouth.

The fact that these changes are visible with different jaw positions reinforces the possible muscular origin.

If some group-muscles are more tight in certain positions, physical therapy, Botox injections may help.

In conclusion, your condition seems not to be a severe one, so, you should not be worried much more than necessary about it.

Hope I helped you.

Take care

Brief Answer:
Answered below.

Detailed Answer:
It is understandable that these problems are serious for you, I am saying that you should not be worried about anything dangerous.

Guided physical therapy and probably braces may help you feel better, for the jaw problems you should be evaluated by a Maxillofacial surgeon, for the neck issues you should see a spine specialist.

The irregularity is probably in muscles and their insertions.

Hope this helps.

Greetings.

Brief Answer:
Answered below.

Detailed Answer:
The skull itself is a rigid structure and does not change shape with movement.

If you want to change something in your skull by surgery, this can be done by surgery and for cosmetic reasons.

There are possible complications, so, it is not advisable to do so.

The problem seems to be with your jaw and facial, neck muscles.

Hope this helps.
