Posted on Fri, 10 Feb 2017
Question: hi , i have a concern with my right eye twitching for almost a month. it is generally the upper side of the right eye that keeps twitching . it happens on and off . earlier i thought it was because of continuous wear of lens but i now remove them regularly. could this be because of stress and smoking ? i never faced a problem like this before . what do u suggest as a remedial measure because this bothers me a lot especially when i am at work . at times my both eye twitches .

Brief Answer:
Try to ignore it.

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
Though it bothers you but clinically we do not attach too much of importance to it.
Since it may be due to excessive electrical discharge, calcium intake is useful, aling with multi vitamins.Avoiding smoking and stress will also help.
This may take a while to subside,do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.

My dear,
Good of you to get back to me.
Multivitamin and avoiding stress and stopping tobacco should start helping you in a couple of weeks. If not then a neurological opinion will keep our mind at rest.
Do not worry and you will be fine.
