Could Cysts In The Liver Be Caused By Taking Tylenol At Night To Help Leg Pain?

Question: I recently had an endoscopy after I complained of abdominal pain - it was found that I had "cysts on my Liver" - but the tests came back as normal. Could the cysts be caused by my taking tylenol in the middle of the night by themselves to help leg pain?

liver cysts are not known to occur with Tylenol

Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Tylenol that is Paracetamol or Acetaminophen is not known to cause liver cysts. Hence I do not think that your taking Tylenol in the middle of night for leg pain has caused any problem like cyst formation in liver.

I hope that an ultrasonography and/or CT scan of abdomen and other tests like that of blood for liver functions must have been done by this time.
Please try to post the reports of all the tests done so for - attached to this query.

Also get the leg pain clinically evaluated and investigated to know the cause and hence getting treated properly.
