Could A Small Pus-filled Blister On My Lower Gum Be Associated With Discoid Lupus?
Question: I have what looks like a small blister on my lower gum just under the 2 front teeth, looks like it is filled with pus. I have discoid lupus and wondering if this is what lupus blisters look like, thank you for your help.

Hi,
Lesion of discoid lupus commonly appears as dry red patches or scaly patches or hyperpigmented areas.
They are commonly not pus filled unless there is a secondary bacterial infection.
The lump that you have on the gum that is pus-filled can be due to gum infection causing Gum boil or tooth infection causing tooth abscess.
So my suggestion is to consult an oral physician and get evaluated.
For now, apply Chlorohexidine gel over it.
Do warm saline gargles.
