Question: Dear Dr,
I suffer from a major depressive disorder. It's also complicated by some bipolar spectrum which manifests with anger. I would like to receive psychological therapy for depression. My hobbies, job, friends, family and daily routine is easy to say, I spend all day in my bedroom, mostly watching TV or in front of the computer. I have almost zero interaction with a friend, ultimately I do not have friends, I lost them all, I don't have a job, so basically I'm living a crappy life.
Exercise and physical activity almost zero.
Even taking medications I don't get better. I know it is a very complicated and severe depression case.
I hope you can help me Dr,
doctor

Brief Answer:
Motivation and Depression centered CBT

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I went through all the details and as you said, it seems that you have moderate to severe depressive disorder.

Depression is a neurochemical disorder. Therefore the treatment is always a combination of medicines and psychotherapy techniques and continuous counseling.

There are several kinds of psychotherpies. For depression, we usually employ Depression-Centered Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DCCBT).

Because continuous counseling and therapeutical trial and error methods are involved, you will need to contact me every 10 days at least.

Psychoeducation is given for appraising you about the many facets of depression and then to streamline your thoughts and confusions if any.

Motivation counseling and motivation therapy are given in the beginning so as to motivate you for a positive state of mind, physical exercise, socialization etc. These three are essential for managing the serotonin which is the basic cause of your depression.

Life style changes are a must so as to enable the therapy process.

In all, the therapy process is a long procedure and you need to have the patience to have such a therapy procedure.

Please let me know which are the medicines you take current. Take care.
