Hello,
If there is penetration to the level of the vocal cords then they can become inflamed and irritated. This would usually be a temporary situation. However if there is infection that is transmitted through the oral sex then evaluation and treatment of the infection would be needed to ensure that there is no permanent damage. If there are any signs of infection like fever or sore throat then see a doctor as son as possible.
If there are no signs of infection then drink plenty of fluids and use an anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen for a few days to see if the irritation can be resolved.
Drinking warm tea with honey may also soothe the throat
