Brief Answer:
General guidelines for flying AFTER NEUROSURGICAL SURGERY- Wait 6 weeks

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Your neurosurgeon is the very best person to inquire as to when your daughter can be cleared to flying after the procedure, however, in general terms NEUROSURGICAL PROCEDURES most commonly need to heal and consolidate for at least 6 weeks before contemplating flying on commercial or other aircraft.

I would also check the airline website as they often publish their own guidelines on when it is safe to fly for postoperative patients and you may find this procedure listed specifically.

But again, you or your daughter would be well advised to put this question to the neurosurgeon whose opinion should prevail.

Cheers!
