Can Inhaling Smell From Rat Droppings Cause Any Sickness?

Question: I discovered what I believe to be rat droppings in my storage unit in my backyard. The smell was terrible and I am freaked out that I may have inhaled something that will make me sick??

There is nothing that is going to happen simply by inhaling the dirty smell from rat droppings. The smell is sickening. Just move to some fresh air and you should feel better. I suggest that you have the rat infestation handled though. They contain many parasites that can make you sick. So make sure that is taken care of.
