Can I Test Positive For THC Inspite Of Being Around A Smoker?
Question: I haven't smoked marijuana in over 5 years but my husband does. I have been around him while has smoked. He smokes about once a day a few hits of a bowl/joint. When he is smoking it has either been in the garage or outside in our yard and I have been around him. I had a hair follicle test done last week and I'm wondering if there is any possibility of testing positive for THC.

No, there are no chances where your hair follicle tests comes positive for THC. Passive smoking leads to ill effects of the tar produced in the smoke from the smoker but not the cannabinoids. The amount of THC in the left out smoke is too less to be picked by a test in passive smoker.
