Can I Take Vesicare And Advair Diskus At The Same Time?

default
Posted on Wed, 14 May 2014
Question: i take a few medications which my dr. tells me do not interact adversely with one another, though in checking on drugs.com, there are two of them that say there could be a moderate interaction. I am wondering if it is okay to take these medications at the same time or if they should be taken separately in the same day? The medications are vesicare 10 mg and advair diskus 100/50. I have been taking the vesicare in the evening and the advair in the morning, though i am wanting to try to take the vesicare in the morning because it is during the daytime that i have a problem with leaking. Is it better to swith to taking the advair in the evening if i take the vesicare in the morning? thank you.

Brief Answer:
It is okay to switch them!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Even when medication do not have any possible interaction, it is always advisable not to take medications at the same time in a day. Following the logical reasons you have raised for wanting to take vesicare in the morning, I recommend that you switch the times. This makes so much sense and would not affect the functioning of the advair diskus.

In all, it is logical and sounds reasonable. There should be no fear and possible interactions seen websites remains a possibility and cannot over turn what you have experienced which has been no interaction up to this point. Go ahead and do the switch and hope it really helps controlling the urine leak during the day!

I hope this helps. I wish you well.Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications should need be. Thanks for using our services. We very much appreciate that.
