Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that there are many causes that can lead to an erection disorder:

- Heart disease (heart failure)
- Clogged blood vessels (atherosclerosis)
- High cholesterol
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes
- Obesity
- Metabolic syndrome — a condition involving increased blood pressure, high insulin levels, body fat around the waist and high cholesterol
- Parkinson's disease
- Multiple sclerosis
- Peyronie's disease — development of scar tissue inside the penis (related to chronic inflammation)
- Certain prescription medications (spironolactone, etc.)
- Tobacco use
- Alcoholism and other forms of substance abuse
- Sleep disorders
- Treatments for prostate cancer or enlarged prostate
- Surgeries or injuries that affect the pelvic area or spinal cord
- psychological disorders such as depression and anxiety

So a careful differential diagnosis should be done, to find out the possible cause.

As you can see high cholesterol and liver disease can lead to erection dysfunction.

I recommend consulting with an urologist and perform some other tests:

-resting ECG and cardiac ultrasouny
-chest X ray study
-abdominal ultrasound to examine your liver
-blood lab tests (inflammation tests, PCR, sedimentation rate, thyroid hormone levels, sex hormone plasma levels) to investigate for other possible causes related to your problems.

From the other hand increased sweating can be a sign of a chronic infection or inflammation.

Some infectious disease tests may be needed if suspicions are raised.

Meanwhile I would recommend you to modify your diet (avoid fat and sugar and increase omega 3 rich food) and perform a lot of physical activity which helps reduce your cholesterol levels.

A statin (simvastatin, atorvastatin, etc.) would be helful reduce your cholesterol levels.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes!
