default
Posted on Wed, 17 Jun 2015
Question: I have celiac disease and what feels like and seems to be trenchmouth. Celiac is an auto immune disease and is causing/allowing the trenchmouth to occur. I alos work in a very high stress deadly and unpaid occupation with no dental insurance. is there ANYWAY TO CURE OR PREVNT TENCHMOUTH USUING HERBS? OINTMENT OVER COUNTER REMEDIES ETC?Celiac can also make me malnourished even is I take vitamens etc sometimes it just flares up, from unknown gluten exposure.I am taking vitamens using mouth rinses using tea tree oil, neem oil and thinking of buying more antimicrobial oils and or natures smile online. do I need antibiotics? can a regular dentist prescribe antibiotics? what do I do. scared and confused. one tooths root has been exposed and I ate some gluten it developed a canker sore.

Brief Answer:
periodontitis, celiac disease, diabetes, blood investigations, images

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the trench mouth is concerned(as per your description), considering your age it does not look like trench mouth, the common age of occurrence is 2nd decade of life and this condition occurs without any local causes like deposits over the teeth.
The celiac disease may reduce immunity and can result in opportunistic infections leading to gum infection. So consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to get your blood investigations like random blood sugar level to rule out diabetes, since the patients with celiac disease are prone to develop diabetes and periodontitis is commonly seen in these patients.
We have first rule out whether it is a trench mouth or a generalised periodontitis (characterized by the presence of deposits over the gums).
Since you are telling you have trench mouth, canker sore, exposed root (all are entirely different lesions) its difficult to come to a diagnosis based on your description.
Without more details I cannot comment on the cause or its treatment. I wish you provide more details about your problem and concern. We can discuss on your individual questions further. If you can upload the images of the gums and teeth, i can give you better diagnosis and treatment plan.
Awaiting your reply.

Brief Answer:
medication, scaling, root planing, dental institute

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your description and reply. I am extremely sorry for your condition.
If it is a trench mouth or periodontitis, it cannot be healed or treated just by medication. The medicines are temporary solution.

You can take antibiotics like doxycycline (if you are not allergic), this will reduce the gum infection and you can also apply metronidazole gel over the infected gums. For the canker sore you can use topical analgesic like choline salicylate and topical anesthetic like lignocaine. Other home remedies will not help. You need to get the oral prophylaxis (scaling and root planing) done to remove the infection.

I can understand your financial problem. Considering that i would suggest you to go to a educational dental institute, where they do the dental treatment with concession or free of cost. The only home remedy what you can do is saline gargling(little warm water put salt in that and rinse your mouth).
I am really sorry for your financial state. This is the maximum which i can do. If you cannot afford for queries, you can mail me to the following mail id.

I hope i have answered your query. Wish you speedy recovery. take care.

I THANK YOU, scaling and root planning ...what if it is not every advanced. no , it sok I got a special 415 for months subscription and with my medical doctors being so sub par becaseu no one want sto accept medical assiatance in this country due to it bot paying XXXXXXX amount- It is creul and sad what the usa does to the rest of the 70-75% of our population. they mak eit look to inidia 2d workd countries our streets ar epaved with gold and everyone has enough NOT TRUE. in my county of wher ei live extremely lot fo homelessness , no one can afford dental care, food banks open year round for free food, lack of ood adequate clean water even. bugs infestauions of bugs everywhere.ia mtalking 75% of the entire county lives in this state while the rest XXXXXXX us and live in the top bracket. only a very few about 10-20% XXXXXXX live in some sort of moderate income level. almost no jobs ofer dental packages. very very few. so even if you are rich you must find and pay for your own dental insurance which is extremely costly. and doesn't cover extreme procedures.
so in this case even a dental school will cost me too mch as they will make me still pay something I cannot afford. I have received that answr mnay times. so I belive in Jesus Christ he can cur ethsi fo rme right? isn't there and old method in IDIA use dto treat it. I really limit sugar intake. I do drink coffee should I stop that? can I still put sugar in coffee if I bruch my teeth or should I drink it black? are there any ancient ayurvedic herbs you remember in XXXXXXX that can be use dto treat. I must use paryer and herbs at this stage. I feel it hasn't advanced. I am acutely aware of thinsg and it may have even just gotten worse since I ate the pizza and like you said another infection is in=fecting my gums . so once I get the gastrointestinal tract back on track my immune system will go up. I will try to enveerr ever cheat on my diet again. ythsi sis quite frightening for me
now how about if it is not severely advanced?
what if it is first stages? I have read tenchnmouth can be controlled by drugs and g=otten rid of. many people online say they have gotten rid of it but I do not know how.
how ? as for beginning periodonbtal disease..i have faith that I can stop it with PRAYER and the right herbs
I read what you wrote.
can I get a doctor to try penicillian? I ACTAULY AM aalllergic to doxycycline. is there a second medication that will help?
oh I am scared now
can my pain medicine be agrivating it?
I take tramadol
it si a synthetic form of an opiate pain reliver for severe nerve damge
oh please whne you have time do keep helping me
I feel like I am catching it early. I read with auto immune diseases I can get trenchmouth and have it recede/go away and come back again. can I control it - do antibiotics control trenchmouth first?
about the periodontal disease I am waiting on that. I feel it is very early an dpraying for a miracle nit
I know JESUSCAN HEAL ANYTHING
but I also know sometimes He needs help doing so in the form of medications
so
trenchmouth treatment?
also what other antibiotic can I use on my gums?
it is a a 10 month wait to see the dental school and still unaffordable.
thank you dear SIR

Brief Answer:
metronidazole, penicillin,

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your reply.

The other drug what you can take for trench mouth and periodontitis is metronidazole along with penicillin (if you are allergic to doxycycline). Over the gums also you can apply metronidazole gel. At the same time you go for treatment of celiac disease also.
Madam, prayers and home remedies will not work, Please understand. For time being you take medicines what i told now. You take appointment and earn some money and take the treatment. Opioid drugs what you are taking is not aggravating the condition.
I really dont know what to say to your helplessness and financial condition.
I just pray to god that you will get some money for your dental treatment and you will get treated and recover fast.
Put an ad in internet and ask for help, definitely you will get some help from people.

I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
