Brief Answer:
Explained below

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Your baby girl must be exclusively fed on mother's milk till 6 months. After that you can slowly start her on infant formula which is enriched with all the necessary nutrients required for the infant's growth. You can start animal milk only once your baby completes 12 months.

Cow's milk is the ideal animal milk to be given initially than buffalo milk as buffalo milk is very high in fat content and babies can find it difficult to digest which may lead to diarrhea. You can add small amounts of cow's milk to her food and if she tolerates well, then you can increase the amount of cow's milk.

For now, I would not recommend introducing buffalo's milk for your 5 month baby girl.

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you any further.

Regards
