Brief Answer:
Banana can be eaten, spotting needs evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX , I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Banana is a iron rich high calorie fruit which can be eaten anytime in pregnancy.
Spotting in early pregnancy can be due to:
1. ectopic pregnancy
2. threatened abortion
3.bleeding around the fetus (subchorionic haemorrhage)
The definitive diagnosis can be made by a ultrasound. I would suggest to get a ultrasound done and get further management accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr Deepti Verma.
