How can i know if this is anxiety or this is a medical problem. I am anxious that something is wrong with me and what if i have a stroke or something like that. But incant figure out if this is anxiety or not. I recently gave my blood for for cholesterol and it game back Ldl 108 Hdl 34 tr 78, which is not that bad only hdl needs to be higher. Now im scared that i have cholesterol in my brain veins and its blocking my bloodflow thats why im feeling like this but also not ruling out anxiety because i always think there is something wrong with me. I want to mri my head to see whats going on, but at the same time im saying this is just anxiety. I hope it is. What can you say doctor

Brief Answer:
You are preoccupied with a thinking

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query. I have read it thoroughly and I shall answer accordingly.

Here I feel that you are very much concerned about 'something is wrong with me'.
You have nothing wrong with you. You have asked previous question and you have been told that there is nothing to worry. You do not need to go for MRI. Don't waste money.

Ahterosclerosis takes a lot of time for building a plaque in blood vessels, It does not develop overnight or within days. So don't worry, and relax. Go for healthy diet, exercise, lifestyle, yoga, meditation.

The repeated thinking about 'something is wrong with me' is making you stressed and causing anxiety symptoms, You just have to distract your mind from all these thoughts, keep yourself involved in your routine activities, job, leisure activities, participate in your favorite sports, go for social outings etc.

So final words are: These all symptoms are because of your preoccupation that 'something is wrong with me'. It is causing anxiety and depressive feelings.

I hope this will be helpful to you. Wishing you good health.
