I have been having the discomfort and pain for a couple of months as my anxiety increased. Have had consult with psychiatrist. He suggested to double up on the maprotiline and perphenezine but it was too much for me to handle. Some history of nausea as it has previously occurred with my anxiety. I also sometimes get dazed in my head.

Brief Answer:
Most probably muscular pain

Detailed Answer:
hello

thank you for getting back with the answers. i have gone through them. most common cause of pain in this case could be muscular spasm aggravated by stress/anxiety. stress/anxiety almost always aggravates a problem. if i were your treating dr then would have advised following things:

- drotaverine thrice a day for 4 days
- take healthy diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables.
- take adequate fluids including fresh juices and water

Hopefully pain will settle in few days BUT if condition remains same or aggravates then you need to visit hospital and get an appointment for a Consultant Gastroenterologist for further workup.

feel free to get back for if you have any query.
thank you and wishing you good health
