Can An X-ray Be Done To See If I Can Remove A Cast Around The 5th Metacarpal In My Right Hand Before Its Due Date?

Question: Hi. I broke the 5th metacarpal in my right hand april 19th. I got a splint 4 days later, and then a cast a week later. On May 4th, I got surgery done and they put a pin inside (no need to rebreak anything). They also put half a cast on. My postop was May 16th. They removed the stitches and put a full cast on me. They then told me to return in another 4 weeks on XXXXXXX 13th. This would mean I’d be waiting for my hand to heal for 8 weeks instead of the average 4-6 weeks.I broke my hand exactly 5 weeks ago, is it possible to get X-rays done to see if I can remove this cast before XXXXXXX 13th?

Now it need 4-6 weeks after surgery for fracture healing( it starts on 4 May), it is ok as they call you on 13 XXXXXXX You can go for check x-ray for stage of fracture healing.
