I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

Both actually have a different purpose , on face one uses cosmatics more than other parts of the body face is exposed to lots of insults like dust ,sunlight,etc and face skin has more oil producing glands and it's more sensistive than other body parts so it is recommended to use face wash dedicated for face care instead of a body wash. Yes you can use a body wash on face was well but for netter result face wash is a better option.

Body wash is almost like a liquid soap and you can defiinetely use it on face. You can use facewash on body as well but usually facewash are more expensive than body wash and using then on whole body usually cost you much.

There are no recommended brands you can use any good brands which suit you. I would suggest you to read reviews on the internet about different prducts and try the top ones and chose what suits you the best.
