Can A Cyst On The Testicle Become Cancerous?

default
Posted on Thu, 24 Aug 2023
Question: Sir, I am a male of 37. I am having a lump on the left testicle since 15 years which has been identified as an epididymal cyst by the urologist. It has also been confirmed by ultrasound. Recently when I am trying to plan for a baby I am facing erectile dysfunction and I am taking the medicine " yohimbe bark" which is prescribed by a homeopathic doctor along with two liquid medicines. I have started these medicines since 2 days.

Sir I have forgot to say the doctor regarding the epididymal cyst which I am having now. My fear is - can the epididymal cyst turn cancerous due to these medicines ????

Brief Answer:
Epidydimal cyst rarely converts into cancer

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Epidydimal cyst rarely converts into cancer.

But in the preview of Erectile dysfunction, it's advisable to get this cyst surgically removed at the earliest to prevent further complications compromising fertility issues

Hope I have answered your query.
