I read your question and i understand your concern how ever there were some ambiguities which needs elaboration from your side for a better and thorough answer.

As far as the interaction of medicine is concerned, i believe you meant metoprolol and androgen analogs. I want you to know that these two medications dont interact with each other but using the later one with out doctor's prescription would not be wise as use of androgens may cause serious damaged by itself . Prostate hepertrophy, worsening of symptoms of prostate and even malignancies have been reported due to excessive stimulation of receptors by exogenous androgens .
