Can Shelcal Be Taken Instead Of Osteomax Safely?
Question: Hello,
My wife is 21 weeks pregnant and Gynae/OBS specialist has prescribed Tab Osteomax 500 mg. However, it was not available and pharmacist/chemist has mentioned Shelcal 500 is exactly same.
1) Can she take Shelcal instead of Osteaomax?
2) Is there any difference between the two medicines?

I will advise you to take tb shelcal CT in place of only Shelcal as it has calcitriol too which is an activated form of Vit D 3. It will be better than former for a pregnant woman.
