Brief Answer:
STD does not cause acne

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

Sexually transmitted diseases including HIV do not cause acne.

Acne is caused by an interplay of hormones, bacteria on the skin and oil secretion from oil glands of the skin.

They occur during puberty and can persist till 25-28 years of age. Sometimes, it can start in adult life and is called as adult acne.

Hope this clears your doubt.

Regards,
