Can STD Be Contracted Through Unprotected Oral Sex?

default
Posted on Mon, 11 Jan 2016
Question: Hi, I am a healthy male and had protected vaginal sex with a female about 4 days ago, she did perform oral on me without a condom.

Today I have experienced anal itch and seem to have a red spot near my anus.

Have no other symptoms and everything else looks normal.

What is likelihood I could have contracted an STD?

Other factors, I am in Thailand for first time, had food poisoning the day after the protected sex and have had spicy food and my bowel movembers are not like normal because I am adjusting to the food.

Should I get tested or is the anal itch more likely irritation from the food, going to the beach, pool, etc?

Brief Answer:
Not related to std, can be due to irritation or infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your complaints and I don't think you are having a STD. I hope you haven't gone for anal sex and there are no chances of contracting STD.
The anal itch and red spot can be because of irritation to the area or due to some infection.
I would recommend you to upload the photographs of the red spot so that I have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you in a better way.

Hi, thank you for reply - no never anal sex. Here are the best I could take as I am alone on holiday in hotel.

My urine is clear/very pale yellow and been drinking a lot of water to stay hydrated so frequency is normal.

Look okay?

Brief Answer:
You are having skin tags

Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
You are having skin tags. These are benign growths of skin tissue which are associated with constipation in few individuals. You don't have to worry about them as they are harmless.
