Can STD Be Contracted Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?

default
Posted on Wed, 26 Aug 2015
Question: Hello
I have received massages and handjobs several times from massage parlors.
The activities which I was involved are:--

1.)Unprotected Handjob
2.)Frottage
3.)Dry Humping
4.)Massage near anus

The activities that I never involved are:-
1.) No Anal Sex
2.) No Vaginal Sex
3.) No Oral Sex
4.) No Deep Kissing/ French Kissing
5.)No rubbing near girls vagina/Anus

My questions are:--

1.) In one of the encounter a girl is sitting with a tiny underwear (underwear is there but very small ) on my back for some time while giving massage and as well as she sat for around 10 minutes on my thighs while giving job. In this case I am sure that she is having underwear and while giving handjob my penis never came directly into contact with her underwear as well. But since the underwear is too small and as she is sitting directly on my thigh area. Both my thighs and her thighs were in contact for some time.Am I risk at any std's which can be transmitted through skin to skin contact ?

2.)Also in of the other encounter a girl is massaging on my back with her forearms, elbow and hands. Here as she is sweating I had came into contact with her sweat. Am I at any risk from this encounter.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
STD unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. I believe you did not have enough contact to be prone to STDs. It needs a thorough exchange of fluids of body either genital or oral to be prone to STDs. Just cuddling and different ways of topical pleasure with no fluid exchange makes it unlikely for STDs.

Also swea does not contain STDs. It is a mere body mechanism to control the temperature mostly comprising of salt and water.

Nut shell, it is unlikely to be STD secondary to encounter like this.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

What about STD's that are transmitted through Skin to Skin Contact as my thighs came into contact directly with her thighs. Also I heard though there may be no visible rash or lesions. Some STD's may be active and may not be visible or show up for some time. In the above case as the contact though it is not directly with vagina/anus (I think as there is underwear vagina or anus might not have directly came into contact with my thighs) but since I came into direct contact with the girl's lower half excluding the region which is covered by underwear Is there any chance of acquiring STD as thigh area will be located nearer to genital region ?

Brief Answer:
Very Unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

As i mentioned you are being worried for nothing. Had thigh contact be sufficient enough to cause STDs all people riding buses and trains would have STD as there is a lot of thigh contact and contact through seats. Trust me when one gets STDs we know.

If you are worried that you still have miraculously got some STDs i would advise a complete STD panel evaluation for the ease of mind.

I hope it helps.

Hello Doctor

Thanks for your prompt Reply.

I have noticed rash and itching in 2 areas.I have uploaded the images of the area where rash is present so that you can examine them and give suggestions/medication in a better manner.

Rash has occured in 2 areas . One area is in between inner thighs and other in between groin area. Now the rash in between inner thighs is very itching and I am finding difficult to walk while walking as the two thighs are rubbing with each other.

My Question are:--

1.) Is the rash in between inner thighs any way related to any STD from the pictures ?

2.) The rash in between inner thighs is itching and finding very difficult to walk when both thighs come into contact with each other. I have also marked the area in one of the images for better understanding in one of the images. Can you please let me know what is the problem from the image and what medication should be followed for this ?

3.)Apart from the rash in inner thighs there was a rash in groin area as well. Can you please tell me is this any way related to any STD ?

4.)Can you please let me know what is the problem in groin area from the image and what medication should be followed for this ?

Note:--Rash present in inner thighs is itching and painful while walking when both thighs came into contact with each other. However rash which is present in groin area is not itching.

Kindly suggest me whether these 2 are anyway related to STD and also please suggest me medication for the above.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Not STD. likely fungal

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

From the pictures and the history and symptoms it appears to be a fungal infection likely jock itch secondary to over sweating and compromised hygiene.

I would suggest maintenance of good hygiene coital and toilet habits and applications of topical hydrocortisone and clotrimazole or any other antifungal. Get the groin hair free and nd wear loose undergarments preferably cotton.

Nutshell not an STD and maintenance of hygiene and application of topical antifungal and corticosteroids.

I hope it helps.

Take care

Hello doctor

Thanks for your prompt Reply.

I am having Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream (Tyza Cream ). Can I apply it in both groin area and as well as inner thighs. Also Will this alone be sufficient or anything needs to be used together with this ?

Brief Answer:
Terbinafine is good.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

Terbenafine hydrochloride is a godo antifungal and i believe it should be sufficient. Apply it over all the affected areas and modify coital and toilet habits and get rid of the hair from the groin. Reduce the odds of sweating by wearing loose undergarments and prefer cotton .

I hope it helps.
