Can Ropinirole ER Be Spilt And Taken In Divided Dose?

Question: have had chest pressure from ropinirole er 2mg since apr 14, cut in half last 7 days and pressure gone, should I continue this?

If you are taking a single tablet of 2 mg previously, it is ok for you to take half (1mg) tablet in the noon and half in the night making 2 mg per day but in divided dose. Take care that you do not get involved in any risky work in the noon after taking the dose as medication can induce some sedation.
