Question: I am wondering if there are any tests like blood work or MRI or CAT that confirm the diagnosis of a Complex Hemipeligic Migraine?

MRI will confirm that it is not a stroke. the genetic tests for atp1a2 and cacna1a have been shown to be correlated with sporadic forms of hemiplegic migraine. ct scan is not useful in this scenario
