Thank u dr. I also wanted to know that after how many hours after ovulation we can do iui. Actually i ovulated naturally on day 18 instead of taking hcg trigger for ovulation. They were 2 follicles, one in each ovary. I went for an ultrasound in the evening of day 18 to see if follicles were ruptured or not. As per ultrasound the right follicle was ruptuted and left one was still there. I had ovulation pain on day 19 morning also left side. But the.pain went away after 2-3 hrs. I had iui on day 19 at 3pm. I am doubtful about the timing of iui.? Whether it was done at right time.

Brief Answer:
Same day is better option

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is better to get IUI done on the day if ovulation day 18. Day 19 pain could be due to ovulation of remaining follicles.

Day 19 IUI is not a bad option. Day 18 is better option though.
