Question: I have GERD problem. Recently I had Choking in the night. I get some times sleep apneoa. I had taken Pantop D and Lesuride for twelve years. I met Gastroenterologist. She advised me take Nexpro 40 and Cintapro twice a day and Ranitin in the night. I was feeling better for sometime. Again started having same problem. Now Doctor prescribed Ganaton total once daily. I have been taking for the past two days. I feel better in the day time but in the night I feel little uneasy. Can I take Ganaton total twice a day?

I can understand your concern. Usually tab. Ganaton total is prescribed once a day for 8 weeks. But in severe cases, it can be given twice a day. So I'd suggest you to consult with Gastroenterologist for detailed history and examination and according to that he may take decision. Along with that avoid hot and spicy food. Kindly take light diet at night and do regular exercises. Kindly follow up if you have any query. Take care.
