Can I Have A Doctor Investigate My Temple By Going
Question: Can I have a doctor investigate my temple by going in (literally) to clip anything to prevent me from getting these headaches. I just can't take the pain anymore. 5 plus years and NOTHING works!!!!! I think I am too young for temporal arteritis. I don't want the doctor to give up on me. I Just can't take it anymore. I teach full time and the pain is there every single day. I would do anything for it to stop. Can they explore in the temple and cut any type of vessel. I know this sounds really weird, but I am over getting this pain every single day. NO triggers, light doesn't bother me, I sleep all of the time. My lifestyle is not what it should be. I uploaded scans and reports. I just need someone to tell me a definitive answer. It's debilitating and honestly, I really don't believe it's a migraine. It is about a half dollar size part of my head and never travels to any other part of my head. I pull on my hair to make it stop, because no medications and no infusions have worked. Please, can you help me?

Long term use of corticosteroids is necessary in your case.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
I have read your new query.
Long term use of corticosteroids is the main treatment possibility for temporal arteritis and in your case is indispensable since it is affecting your lifestyle.
Besides corticosteroids, low dose aspirin, vitamin D and gastroprotection are used also.
There is no surgical treatment for this diagnosis.
A biopsy is necessary for confirmation.
Discuss with your Doctor for the treatment.
