Can HIV Be Contracted Through A Used Lancet?
Question: I went to planned parenthood to get my 3 month test (my test came back neagtive) She used a lacent which she used to finger prick my finger. I did not see her dispose my lacent afterwards. Now I am scared that she might be reusing them. If she did reuse them could I have got hiv from a finger prick needle that is used for rapid hiv test? Do I need to get retested ?

Everywhere in the world (especially you are living in a developed country), lancets are for onetime use. They will not reuse the same. So you need not worry.
If these lancets are reused knowingly or unknowingly, the risk of transmission of diseases those can be transmitted through blood can not be ruled out.
But that is your unnecessary fear and this could not happen.
