Brief Answer:
Gimef Forte is not advisable following angioplasty.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir, Hi
Good evening.
I can understand your concern.

Gimef forte contains Paracetamol and Mefenemic acid generally prescribed to treat mild to moderate painful conditions like headache, bodyache, muscle pain.
The commons side effects of this medicine are dyspepsia (heartburn), nausea, vomiting, bleeding, and allergic reactions.

Mefenamic acid is an NSAID (non steroidal anti inflammatory drug) which can cause bleeding as its one of the common side effects. Since you have recently undergone angioplasty hence Gimef forte is not advisable to be used for the treatment of migraine.

I would advise you to consult your doctor for proper evaluation and use of an alternate but a safer drug for your migraine.

Hope this answers your query.

Brief Answer:
Dietary modifications and lifestyle changes.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir, Hi
Thanks for your reply.

You need to have certain dietary modifications & lifestyle changes like
1. Avoid smoking & alcohol (if you are in the habit of doing so)
2. Avoid stress, do regular exercise (brisk walking) daily for about 30 minutes
3. If you have diabetes and high BP, see that both are controlled
4. Take low fat & cholesterol diet, eat fruits and vegetables.
5. Avoid foods that trigger the migraine attack like caffeine, cheese, and butter.

Regarding the safe medications for migraine in patients with heart disease
I would suggest a beta blocker like Propranolol or a calcium channel blocker like Flunarizine could a better option. However, you must take your treating consultant's opinion regarding their merits.
Hope this answers.
Best regards.
