Question: Hi doctor can we take gardasil vaccination during exclusive breast feed I delivered 3 and half months ago n I had first dose of gardasil vaccination on may 30 th now my second dose is pending I just want to know is it safe during exclusive breast feeding and mine is normal delivery

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Gardasil or HPV vaccination is completely safe in breastfeeding. You can continue with the further doses of Gardasil as advised.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the several health professional organizations state the Gardsasil vaccine given to a nursing mother do not affect the safety of breastfeeding for mothers or infants.
