Can Fluoxetine Be Taken Together With Mirtazapine Without Any Side Effects For Clinical Depression And Anxiety?
Question: I have severe arthritis and clinical depression with anxiety. I have taken XXXXXXX E plus my meds in the past without having side effects. XXXXXXX E now has Warning to not take if you are on antidepressants such as Prozac. I took XXXXXXX E
with Prozac and felt better mentally and physically after 2- 3 weeks. I went off of XXXXXXX E because of price , but price now lower. I want to go back on XXXXXXX E but would like your opinion of combining Prozac and Remeron with it. Again,
I felt better on it without any side effects.

SAM-e has good evidence as a treatment for osteoarthritis pain. Some studies have found that oral SAM-e is as effective as NSAID painkillers, such as ibuprofen and Celebrex. SAM-e takes longer to act than drugs do, but it also has fewer side effects than NSAIDs.
SAM-e has also been used to treat depression for many years. Some studies have found that SAM-e might work as well as tricyclic antidepressants in relieving symptoms.
SAM-E enhance effects and side effects of Prozac ,so combination not recommended .
