Can Flexeril Be Taken Along With Hydrocodone?
Question: can flexerile be taken with hydrocodone?
Brief answer....either avoid it or take lesser dose of either drug.
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
FLEXERIL ( CYCLOBENZAPRINE ) is a muscle relaxant and one of its side effect is drowsiness. Similarly HYDROCODONE is an semisynthetic opioid which also has drowsiness as its side effect.
Once both the drugs are given together, drowsiness can get accentuated many fold.
So better to avoid taking both together.
But if it is necessary to take both together, then reduce the dose of either of them.
In such an event,do watch for drowsiness and dizziness.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
