Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. You can speak to your doctor about trying out the fentanyl patch which can help as it is an anti-inflammatory.

Also, I would like to recommend a neck brace which has helped a lot of patients with their pain around the neck and nape regions, especially the spine. You can purchase a neck brace in any medical store or pharmacy, and you can take him there and help him find the perfect size and one he is most comfortable with, to wear around most of the time through the day when he is not expected to look prim and proper.

I hope you have received my answer, please also feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
