Question: Hi I'm 17.3 weeks pregnant. I had owed abdomen pain and also only have one artery in umbilical cord to baby and one vein instead of two arteries . Also Afi is 10.9 so on lower side. I've been taking ecosprin 75 since 8 weeks
Now the doc put me on Duvadilan retard for two weeks . Is it ok to take Duvadilan and ecosprin together ?

Brief Answer:
Take both the tablet as directed by your doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..

Duvadilan is a uterine relaxant.Since you were complaining of pain abdomen, duvadilan helps to prevent preterm labour..

Ecospirin increases the blood supply to the fetus..It should be stopped at 36 weeks or 1 day prior to delivery. So continue the tablet..

Single umbilical artery can be a normal variant or it may be associated with anomalies. Get a detailed anomaly scan. If everything is normal, then nothing to worry..

Since AFI is low, take lots of fluid and fruit juices.Take a high protein diet. Rest in left lateral position. Take protein sachets daily.. Get a scan repeated after 1 month to see AFI and fetal growth..

Hope I have answered your queries..Feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day..
