Brief Answer:
hi and welcome

Detailed Answer:
You need to consult your doctor before taking any antibiotc. doxicilcine is not routinely used for diverticulitis treatent. you need to take ciprofloxacin + metrnodasole for mild cases of diverticultiis. if this is moderate grade or pain worsens you need to do ct scan and bverify is there complicated diverticulitis which should be treated surgically. Wish you good health. Regards
